Lovely Chinese mixed with sushi, most of the food I have tried is very good. A little pricey since they opened the sit-down restaurant. Friendly staff except for one man who didn't like his tip on a delivery. If it wasn't for him they would get an extra star. You know who you are buddy! You're not a waiter, just a delivery boy, you DONT GET 15%! Girls behind the counter very friendly...quick to serve. So now I do pick-up only...to avoid that jerk and their delivery charge!

Completely grossed out by this place now. A bug was basically fried into my chicken! That is so disgusting...I'm not even sure how that would happen. Health code violation! This place needs to be shut down ASAP!

First time there I really wanted to like it since it's so close to my house but I couldn't . I order the out of control roll and there was no meat it was more like a vegetable roll, I don't think I will be going there anymore. I'll stick with Okeno sushi in Shirley

This is the worst food I've ever had. I worked a 12 hour day and then had this for dinner. I ordered for delivery and they brought me the wrong food. Instead of bringing me the right food I had to go pick it up myself. They charge you for fuel when you get it delivered but were not willing to refund me. Terrible customer service. The worst part is that it isn't even tasty to begin with.

Place is excellent! Order take out when I'm around always prompt and food is really fresh. They never disappoint go here once a week for take out. The sushi is always fresh they give you option to be made with soy paper which is really tasty. By far best in area.

Family and I were driving around, trying to find the pet cemetery, when we found this little gem of a restaurant in a shopping strip. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the server was an absolute delight! The food here's really good and the portions are pretty big. Their sweet and sour soup's a must get. The chicken and mixed vegetables and fried rice dish were great. We also got a soupy noodle dish that was off the menu which hit the spot. I'm really glad we found this place!

First the food is not good. I had a kung pao chicken that was more than 50% celery. The peanuts were clearly just tossed around, almost as if they forgot to put it and added in the last minute. The staff is also not great. Although the person in the front desk was nice, our waiter was awful. We ordered a vegetable dish (that was part of the "vegetable" section) and it has pork in it!when we asked the waiter she said we should have said that we didn't want it with pork, without at least an apology. If you want good chinese food drive another 15 min west, believe me it's worth the extra time.

Absolutely disappointing!!! I ordered two items. The vegetable dumplings and a small general tso chicken. At first the lady told me it would be 3 dollars more than what it's supposed to be. I asked her why and she said because there's a $15 minimum. So I said I'll order more to hit the limit and then she said there's no need and suddenly the price was lowered. I don't get why she tried to lie instead of being honest. Fast forward to my meal. The dumplings lacked flavor and the tso sauce tasted like watered down hot sauce. What it was? I don't know. And to top it off there was hair fried into my chicken batter. Not an eyelash hair, but a long thick gross strand of hair! Ewww!!! I will NEVER eat here again. Call the health department. When I called for a refund they refused!

If you haven't had the General Tso chicken and shrimp combo you have been denying yourself. I don't know what you did wrong, but you should go to confession (or your appropriate atonement process) and then go get yourself this dish. The serving is good enough for two meals or to share. The chicken is moist the shrimp tastes fresh (not like soggy frozen shrimp) and broccoli that's amazingly crisp, even the florets. Every thing is done right. Warning this is a spicy dish. Not for the steamed vegetable crowd.

Well, the service recently has improved. However, the food is just mediocre...If your a Sushi connoisseur, then you will not be even mildly impressed.

I have ordered from here a few times in the past, the food is ok. This time we ordered takeout and they forgot to pack the ribs and the beef with vegetables was dry. Went back to get the ribs and asked for extra sauce, after driving 25 minutes round trip while the rest of my order was home getting cold, they had the gall to charge me for the extra sauce. In hind site I should have returned the entire meal. I really hate doing business with people like this, I will not be returning.

I drive a half hour since this is the best Chinese food within a reasonable driving distance from my house. Good wonton soup, boneless spare ribs and decent lo mein. Service is always friendly and take out is fast . Not city quality but far better than the sludge near my town.

Disappointing, but what can you expect? You're in Middle Island! Their food is really a hit or a miss. I thought I found an authentic Chinese restaurant at first, but as I visited this place more often, I was just disappointed at the consistency of the quality and the taste of the food. Stay away from General Tso's Chicken, I could taste the breading on the chicken!

Got the General Tso's Chicken combination to-go around 8pm on a Monday. It was under $10 and ready in less than 10 minutes. Combo came with meat, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. Overall, it was fine. A step above Panda Express, but not incredible. It was pretty filling and I have enough for lunch tomorrow. Will probably go back to try other things.

I've lived in middle island all my life and even though a few other Chinese food places have come in, I still find myself coming here. A recent overhaul has brought a clean sit down restaurant with good sushi. Highly recommend.

Decent Chinese and Japanese fusion place. Does a ton of takeout business. Not inexpensive and the sushi is unimpressive. Although the restaurant was redone not too long ago, it's not particularly clean as one would expect.

I had food delivered and the delivery guy try to get a bigger tip from me. Had the nerve to tell me that's it... And proceeded to tell me how he delivers far. That is a service they provide and should be happy with what they get. What annoyed me the most was that he did the same thing to my daughter. He wasn't getting over in me... Will not order again from them.

You know, this place wasn't bad. For a greasy spoon chinese food place, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality... and I hate to say "this far out on Long Island," but I can't help it. When I'm in the area, I can't think of a reason not to eat here again. Food was good, prices were fine, cooking was quick. Solid 3 stars!

The food is good, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. They messed up my delivered order, and refused to make good on it. The people who work there are nasty, rude and mean. This place is not worth the aggrivation! There are plenty of other Asian restaurants who serve good food. If you like bad customer service, and being treated badly, then this is the place for you. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Went for dinner and had the sushi and it was fresh and very good. At the end of dinner they made us fried bananas.

This is one of four Chinese restaurants in our area, and Good Wok was always our favorite for take out. In the past few months they have expanded to the store next door and opened up a sushi bar and a sit down restaurant. Been eating sushi here every weekend since they expanded. They have a great menu of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Our kids love the fried Iced Cream. The wife and I love the Japanese Fusion Specialties. Ben is one of the head chefs always makes time to come out and say hello and to make sure food and service is nothing but the best.

I tried the newly added Japanese Sushi menu. I had the various vegetable sushi which was good.

No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
